KIWANIS CHANGING THE WORLD FOREVER
With The Eliminate Project, Kiwanis International and UNICEF have joined forces to eliminate maternal and neonatal tetanus. This deadly disease steals the lives of nearly 60,000 innocent babies and a significant number of women each year. The effects of the disease are excruciating — tiny newborns suffer repeated, painful convulsions and extreme sensitivity to light and touch. Additional information on the Kiwanis International's efforts with The Eliminate Project can be found on the Kiwanis International WSP page.
Kiwanis International has set a goal to raise 110 Million dollars to help eliminate this disease worldwide.
Kiwanians worldwide have already raised over $60 Million dollars in support of this project.
Since the Eliminate Project was started in June 2010, Maternal / Neonatal Tetanus has been eliminated in 39 countries. We have 20 more countries remaining worldwide to eliminate this disease from.

2. Your club has five years from the date that you sign the pledge to raise the amount pledged.
3. No pledge amount is too small, if you feel that your club may not be able to pledge at a Model Club level, consider becoming a Silver, Bronze or any pledge amount will help save lives.
